I am a detail obsessed perfectionist, specialising in hand drawn lettering. Drawing on bold colour palettes and illustrative elements, every piece I create is unique to the customer and guaranteed to be a one-off artwork. All artworks are completed to the highest standard and shipped with special care to ensure the piece reaches you safely.
What is glass gilding?
Glass gilding is a process where the reverse side of a piece of glass is gilded with gold leaf. Considered a niche art, glass gilding has a small but devoted number of practitioners. The result is a mirror-like, softly reflective surface that, when combined with reverse painting techniques, creates rich, shimmering and beautifully reflective pieces of artwork.
The Process
Whether you are looking for a special gift or an original artwork for your home, I can work with you to create a beautiful custom sign. All lettering is hand drawn with nothing being created from commercially available fonts, ensuring every artwork I create is completely unique.
Once you have decided what letters/word/phrase you would like, I will sketch out a few lettering options for you to choose from. Once this has been refined, we will move onto colours and finishes, creating a full colour mock-up before hand-painting and gilding your sign. A range of effects and embellishments are available, please look at my past commissions for examples of what can be achieved.

Effects & Finishes
All artworks are hand painted and can be embellished with:
Bright mirror yellow/white gold
Oil gilded burnished yellow/white gold
Various types of pearl shell
Glitter

All pricing is done on a piece by piece basis with every artwork priced according to letter number, finishing and size. I do aim to work within most budgets so do get in touch, but if you would like a guide price please look at the pricing page.
